Our website may use cookies to improve experience, measure performance and, with your consent, run analytics services.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text record placed in a browser. It may maintain a session, provide security, remember a choice or measure use. Local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs and requests made by embedded content can perform similar functions; this policy refers to them collectively as “technologies”.
First-party technologies are set by the https://effectivedijital.com domain. Third-party technologies are set or read by another provider, such as Google, YouTube, Google Maps or İyzico. Session technologies may expire when the browser closes; persistent technologies remain for a stated period, until the user deletes them or until their purpose expires.
2. Legal approach and consent management
Technologies strictly necessary to carry a communication or supply a function you expressly request may operate without consent for functionality and security. In the current interface, those essential technologies remain active, while measurement through Google Analytics or Tag Manager does not load before analytics is accepted.
Accept-all and reject-all controls for optional categories have equal prominence, and analytics and third-party media can also be selected separately. Rejection does not block basic site content. The ecw_cookie_consent local-storage record contains the policy version, update time and category-specific values; it is separate for each browser or device, and a new choice is requested when the policy version changes.
You can change choices by reopening the Cookie Preferences panel, or by clearing ecw_cookie_consent in the browser and reloading the page. Withdrawing analytics changes Consent Mode to denied for the future, but earlier third-party records may need to be cleared separately in browser settings. A one-off load button on a map or video controls only the connection for that content.
3. Technology inventory
| Technology or example name | Provider | Category and purpose | Duration or trigger |
|---|---|---|---|
| Laravel session cookie; its name may vary by deployment | Effective Creative Works | Strictly necessary to maintain sessions, customer portal login, form state and secure application flows. | Usually the session or a short period configured in the application. |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Effective Creative Works | Strictly necessary to verify forms and authenticated actions against cross-site request forgery. | Usually the session or the duration in the application security configuration. |
| ecw_cookie_consent | Effective Creative Works | Preference storage used to remember policy version, update time, analytics and third-party media choices in browser local storage. | Until the choice changes, the policy version changes or the record is cleared from the browser. |
| Google Analytics identifiers, such as _ga and deployment-specific measurement records | Analytics used after permission to measure visits, sessions, pages and conversions and produce aggregate performance reports. | Only after analytics permission; exact name and duration may vary with Google configuration. | |
| Google Tag Manager | Tag management used to load permitted analytics tags in a controlled way rather than independently deciding a measurement purpose. | Only following the related permission and during page interaction. | |
| Google Maps embed | Functional third-party content used to display a map and potentially send approximate device and interaction information to the provider. | Only after third-party media is enabled or the explicit map load button is selected; according to provider settings. | |
| YouTube privacy-enhanced embed | YouTube or Google | Functional media used to play video. Although a no-cookie domain is preferred before playback, playback and interaction can still transmit information. | Only after third-party media is enabled or the explicit video load button is selected; according to provider settings. |
| İyzico payment or subscription component | İyzico | Strictly necessary transaction technology used when checkout starts for secure payment, authentication, fraud prevention and subscription authorisation. | During checkout and for İyzico’s legal or security retention periods. |
The live inventory can vary due to deployment, provider or browser changes. Effective Creative Works seeks to keep this table current through periodic scanning and configuration review.
4. Strictly necessary session and security technology
The Laravel session cookie associates requests with the same session and maintains sign-in, error or success messages and portal workflows. XSRF-TOKEN helps verify that forms and state-changing requests originate from a legitimate browser session. Blocking these may prevent forms, login, preference or payment redirection from working.
ecw_cookie_consent is a local-storage record used to remember your choice in the same browser without necessarily sending it to the server. It is not used for analytics and is needed to apply your preferences. Clearing browser data may cause the panel to appear again.
5. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Google Analytics measurement tags do not run before analytics permission. Where Google Tag Manager is used, it is configured to manage tags according to consent state; having a tag manager does not permit measurement without consent.
After permission, the site may measure page views, sessions, referring source, broad device or browser class, approximate region and predefined conversion events. Free text from forms, passwords, full payment details and sensitive customer content must not be transmitted as analytics event parameters.
Analytics reports help determine which site areas are useful, locate technical issues and assess campaign performance in aggregate. Where appropriate, IP masking, limited data retention, restricted user identifiers and disabled advertising personalisation are used to minimise data.
6. Google Maps, YouTube and other embedded content
The remote source for map and video embeds is not assigned on initial page load. A connection begins only when you enable the third-party media category or select the explicit load button on the content. Once connected, IP address, device information, page address and interaction may be transmitted, and a signed-in provider may associate the interaction with your account.
Where practical, YouTube uses privacy-enhanced mode through youtube-nocookie.com. This does not eliminate all data flows, particularly once a video is played. Current provider policies and settings apply to Google Maps and other embeds.
7. İyzico payment technology
The İyzico component may load only when you initiate a payment or subscription step, for secure processing, card authentication, fraud prevention and recording recurring-charge authority. It is not used as an advertising cookie; it is required to establish and secure the payment you request.
İyzico, banks and card networks may process device, transaction, authentication and payment data under their independent legal and security duties. Do not send full card information to Effective Creative Works through e-mail, contact forms or portal messages.
8. Managing your choices
- Manage analytics and third-party media separately in the panel, or accept or reject all optional categories with equally prominent controls; essential technologies operate independently of that choice.
- Use browser settings to inspect, block or delete site cookies and clear ecw_cookie_consent from local storage.
- Use account, advertising and analytics opt-out tools supplied by Google according to your preference.
- If you keep third-party media disabled and do not activate the map or video load button, no remote-provider connection starts; the provider’s policy applies if you open an external link.
- Make a new choice for another browser, device, private window or profile.
Where no single binding industry standard exists for browser tracking signals, the most reliable control is to use the site’s current analytics preference interface together with browser storage and content-blocking settings.
9. Data, recipients and international transfers
Essential technology records may be processed by Effective Creative Works and hosting or security providers. Permitted analytics data and data from embeds loaded on the page or opened by the user may go to Google and its relevant service companies; payment-flow data may go to İyzico and participants in the payment ecosystem.
Where a third party uses global infrastructure, data may be transferred abroad. An adequacy decision, appropriate safeguard or, only for occasional transfers, a statutory exception is assessed under Article 9 of the KVKK. Non-essential technology relying on consent is stopped for the future when consent is withdrawn.
10. Inventory updates and contact
This policy and preference panel are updated when a provider, purpose, duration or site configuration changes. Adding a new non-essential category or purpose is not presumed to be covered by an earlier consent; a renewed choice is requested when necessary.
Contact Effective Creative Works at merhaba@effectivecreativeworks.com about cookies or your preference record. For technical investigation, it may help to provide the browser, device, page and approximate time, but do not send a password or card information.
